About Brymer House Bed & Breakfast

Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Winchester, since 1996

Brymer House is a charming town house in a terrace of similar Victorian cottages and is well placed for the city centre. The house has been imaginatively adapted to provide guests with privacy, their own entrance, a dining room and the use of a small family sitting room with television/video and an open fire. There are two double bedrooms (one twin-bedded) with their own en-suite bathrooms each with bath and shower, WC and basin and each room has its own colour television, radio/alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities.

Great importance is attached to overall comfort and the house is appointed and furnished to an elegant standard and our available rooms follow the overall theme of our family home. Quite simply, we have set out to provide what we would ourselves like to find as guests.

We offer a delicious breakfast with a choice of menu served in the dining room. For those visiting the area, with our knowledge of the City and the delightful surrounding villages and countryside, we are able to send you on your way for days of great pleasure.

An ideal intimate base for visitors to the heart of Hampshire and a quiet retreat either for a short break, touring holiday or for those staying on business.

Fizzy and Guy Warren extend a warm welcome.

As recommended in Alastair Sawday’s “Special Places To Stay” – British Bed & Breakfast:

Complete privacy in a B&B is rare. Here you have it, and just a 12-minute walk from the centre of town, Cathedral and water meadows. Relax in your own half of a Victorian townhouse beautifully furnished and decorated, and immensely welcoming. Fizzy serves sumptuous breakfasts and fresh flowers abound – guests have been delighted. You are also left with an ‘honesty box’ so you may help yourselves to drinks. The rooms are cosy with lovely big antique mirrors, bedspreads and furniture; there is a log fire in the sitting room and a pretty garden, too.
