I had the pleasure of staying in Brymer House for one night whilst attending a training course. I really couldn't have asked for more. The whole experience was just exceptional from when I rang the doorbell until I left. The breakfast was exceptional and Fizzy couldn't have been a more welcoming hostess. Also, her homemade marmalade is to die for. I write this review 3 months after staying so obviously Brymer House left a lasting impression. Also there is a Hollywood connection for anyone interested. Have a peek at the pictures on the mantelpiece. I was gobsmacked !

Brymer House is a truly English experience, from the pretty bedrooms to the superb cooked breakfast. Fizzy and Guy were extremely helpful with recommendations as to where to eat and what to go and see in the local area. You have the added bonus of the use of a small sitting room which is charming. I would highly recommend Brymer House if you are spending a few days in the lovely city of Winchester.

Brymer house is a wonderful experience. Great location in a quiet area of Winchester convenient to the town center. Winchester center has a number of excellent restaurants and pubs in a broad price range within a 15 minute walk from Brymer house. Winchester itself is worth a few days to explore the history and cultural sites. Walking opportunities abound in town along the water meadows and nearby areas. Brymer house is quiet, comfortable, and very relaxing - coal fires in the winter and a garden in the summer. Breakfast is the best you can find. The hosts, Fizzy and Guy, are helpful, attentive, and available. Highly, highly recommended.
